libcholmod2.1.2 software package provides sparse Cholesky factorization library for sparse matrices, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcholmod2.1.2
libcholmod2.1.2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcholmod2.1.2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcholmod2.1.2 *
You will get with libcholmod2.1.2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
